Key Role:

We seek an ESG Intern to join our ESG team and assist in ensuring timely and accurate data collection and ESG reporting support. As an ESG Intern, you will collaborate with the ESG Department to support data collection and verification, GRESB reporting, CDP reporting, and tool development. This position is ideal for college students or recent graduates looking to gain valuable professional experience in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues.

*This is not a finance position.

 Timeframe:

Spring and Summer Internship: 16-20 hours per week

Primary Job Duties:

As an ESG Intern, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting reporting needs for GRESB and CDP submissions, including evidence gathering, score calculations, and any other requests that might come up.
  • Supporting data collection and processing efforts for energy, waste, and water.
  • Developing tools and improved processes for ESG reporting and data assurance.
  • Collaborating with data analysts to ensure proper documentation.
  • Reviewing policies and updating current policies within SIG templates.
  • Researching emerging ESG data trends.
  • Maintaining daily work logs for specific projects.

Required Education: University degree in progress (or recently graduated with a B.S. or B.A.). The ideal candidate will be studying or will have recently studied Environmental Science, Sustainability, Biology, Business, Architecture, Engineering or Data Analytics concentrations.
