Scope of Work:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Benefit Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for providing comprehensive benefit solutions to employees. The Benefit Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and administering employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and effectively communicating benefit options to employees. This position will report to the Director of Benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of existing employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other employee perks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as HR, finance, and legal departments to develop and implement new benefit programs or modify existing ones.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including but not limited to ERISA, COBRA, ADA, FMLA, ACA, and HIPAA.
  • Manage benefit enrollment processes, including new hires, life events, and open enrollment periods.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and benefit providers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and facilitating communication.
  • Analyze and interpret benefit plan documents, summaries, and contracts.
  • Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes.
  • Distributes all benefits enrollment materials and determines eligibility.
  • Enrolls employees with carriers and process life status changes.
  • Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries.
  • Provides necessary reports for allocation/billing charges.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5 Years of experience in benefits administration, HR, or a related field.
  • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and data transmission () (Preferably ADP).
  • Experience working in a rapidly evolving, highly matrixed organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Certification in Benefits Administration (CEBS, PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.) is preferred but not required.
