Spring Congressional Internship with the Office of Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz
The Office of Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz (Texas-15) is seeking full-time Spring interns (paid) for the Washington, D.C. Office.
Interns will assist staff members with administrative, legislative, and communications work. Typical intern duties include answering constituent calls, scheduling tours, writing press clips, drafting letters, sorting mail, and assisting Congresswoman’s staff on research and legislation. Internships are open to undergraduate students and recent college graduates. Stipends are provided to DC interns. Preference will be given to applicants with Texas ties.

DC Communications and Legislative Internships:
The Office of Congresswoman De La Cruz (TX-15) is seeking a Spring Intern for the Washington, D.C. office.
The Intern will assist the team with drafting social media posts and newsletters, creating graphics, compiling clips, updating press lists, monitoring news coverage, researching legislation and other tasks as assigned. They will report to the Press Assistant and the Legislative Director.
Internships are open to undergraduate students, recent college graduates, and graduate school students with a background or interest in digital media, communications, and/or journalism. The ideal candidate will be a strong writer and/or have experience with graphic design (Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud are a plus). Preference will be given to applicants with Texas ties.
