eCommerce Merchandising Intern

Schneider Electric is offering an exciting opportunity for an eCommerce Intern or Co-Op to join our Global eCommerce & Distribution team, supporting North America from June - December 2025. We are looking for candidates based out of our Boston, MA, Nashville, TN or Raleigh, NC location.

The eCommerce Merchandising Intern is responsible for ensuring that Schneider Electric's distribution partners provide a best-in-class online experience by leveraging available content and merchandise to highlight our offers. The role will involve regular engagement with key global and regional stakeholders, working within a high-energy team. 

This candidate will gain valuable hands-on experience in a leading global organization and unlock the power of eCommerce in a B2B setting. The Intern will gain an in-depth understanding of our Go-to-market, our eCommerce strategy, and how content and digital tools drive traffic, conversion, and engagement. Ideally, this role will transition to a full-time internship role during the summer and part-time through Fall 2024. 

What will you do? 

  • Collaborate with NAM eKAMs to enhance eCommerce performance across the customer funnel (traffic acquisition, conversion rate optimization, AOV) to drive online sales 
  • Utilize data and analytics to gain insights into customer behavior, drive initiatives, and track their performance 
  • Identify merchandising opportunities with different wholesale electrical distributors and retail players to ensure SE products are displayed correctly 
  • Ensure partners follow and comply with SE eCommerce brand guidelines 
  • Conduct strategic digital shelf analysis, identifying catalog gaps to improve (e.g., new product introductions, remove end-of-commercialization products, etc.) 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and support the company's mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity 

What qualifications will make you successful? 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in a related technical major (Engineering preferred) and graduating in December 2025 or later 
  • Have had experience supporting and participating in group/team projects 
  • High level of energy and professionalism 
  • Strong communication and organizational skills 
  • Eager to learn  
  • Local to Raleigh, NC, Nashville, TN, or Boston, MA and able to work at least twice a week on-site
