Position Summary: The Social Media Coordinator adds value to BAPI and the Marketing Team by creating and implementing effective digital marketing collateral to help promote BAPIs image and brand globally through digital media sources. The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for executing the company’s social media strategy. They play a key role in maintaining a brands online presence and ensuring that content aligns with marketing goals. This role is critical in maintaining brand awareness, generating engagement, and growing online communities. This role will oversee the development of online marketing content across both domestic and international marketing channels, ad copywriting, and content creation to support culturally competent online marketing campaigns, have advanced knowledge of graphical tools (ex: Adobe CC suite), and create assets for marketing campaigns and maintain them over time.

Content Creation:

  1. Develop, write, and design posts, including graphics, photos, videos, and copy for various platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
  2. Schedule Posts in line with content calendar and marketing campaigns

Platform Management:

  1. Oversee daily management of social media accounts
  2. Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and queries
  3. Monitor user engagement and suggest optimization
  4. Foster relationships with followers, influencers, and industry partners
  5. Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all interactions
  6. Collaborate with content creators or influencers to amplify brand reach

Strategy Development:

  1. Work with marketing and sales (along with other departments) to align social media activities with broader marketing objectives
  2. Coordinate with marketing, PR, design, and other teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging
  3. Assist with developing strategies to increase engagement, grow follower counts, and improve brand visibility

Analytics and Reporting:

  1. Track performance metrics (likes, shares, retweets, impressions) and analyze social media campaigns effectiveness by utilizing social management platforms (such as Sprout Social)
  2. Prepare reports to showcase progress and key performance indicators (KPI’s)
  3. Competitive analysis of industry activity and trends

Maintains industry knowledge by attending educational workshops or classes; reviewing related publications; establishing networks.  

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, including special projects and tasks as delegated supervisor.

 

Requirements

Education Requirements (R/Required, P/Preferred):

(R) Bachelor’s Degree 

 

Degrees Preferred: Digital Media/Marketing, Communications/Public Relations or related and relevant experience        

 

Training, Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Specific Training in this field (R/Required, P/Preferred):

  1. (R) Strong communication and writing skills for crafting effective posts
  2. (R) Creativity to design compelling and visually appealing content
  3. (R) Time Management for scheduling posts and managing multiple platforms
  4. (R) Analytical skills to interpret data and optimize performance
  5. (R) Social media platform expertise
  6. (P) Sound understanding of search engine optimization (SEO)

 

Experience/Knowledge in this field (R/Required, P/Preferred):

  1. (R) Experience with managing multiple social media accounts
  2. (R) Experience working in digital marketing or communications role
  3. (R) Experience in Canva, Adobe, and mobile apps

  

General Experiences/Knowledge/Skills

  1. 3-5 years of professional experience
  2. Exceptional communication skills, demonstrated ability to communicate respectfully, culturally competent and collaboratively
  3. Excellent Ability to communicate in verbal, written and electronic forms in a professional manner when working with employees, vendors and company contacts
