Social Media Intern

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop Social Media Content: Assist in creating engaging, creative, and brand-aligned content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and others.

Post & Schedule Content: Manage the daily posting and scheduling of content across various social media platforms, ensuring a consistent and timely presence online.

Social Media Monitoring & Engagement: Monitor social media conversations, respond to comments/messages, and engage with the community to build relationships and foster brand loyalty.

Content Research & Trend Analysis: Stay on top of social media trends, food culture news, and culinary events to ensure our content is relevant and innovative.

Analytics Support: Help track and analyze the performance of social media campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

Manage Social Media Calendar: Assist in planning, organizing, and updating the social media calendar to ensure cohesive and strategic content distribution.

Collaborate with the Marketing Team: Work alongside marketing colleagues to brainstorm and implement new social media campaigns, promotional strategies, and content ideas.

Skills and Experience:

Marketing or Communications Focus: Preferably pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.

Social Media Enthusiast: A strong interest in using social media as a tool for marketing, branding, and community building.

Strong Written & Verbal Communication Skills: Excellent writing skills for creating engaging social media posts and communicating effectively with the online community.

Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and consistency across platforms.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with social media platforms and basic knowledge of tools like Canva, Hootsuite, or other scheduling/analytics platforms is a plus. A passion for learning new digital tools and software is essential.

Creative & Innovative Thinking: A creative mindset with a willingness to experiment with new ideas, content formats, and digital strategies.

Exceptional Organizational Skills: Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage time effectively while supporting multiple projects.

Analytical Mindset: Interest in evaluating the effectiveness of social media strategies and using data to inform decisions.
