Customer Service Facilities Agent (Full-Time)

At Piedmont Airlines, our strength is the way we deliver industry-leading service to our customers and airline partners. To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as a Customer Service Facilities Agent. The primary responsibility of the position is general construction, plumbing, and electrical maintenance tasks. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail oriented, and dependable to maintain daily productivity. This position reports to the Project Manager, Facilities.
Essential Duties:
- General maintenance and repair to include basic plumbing, carpentry, hardware, painting, flooring, and electrical work
- Maintain airport grounds including hangar, terminal, ramp areas, storage pods, parking areas, and offices
- Conduct snow and weed removal
- Complete daily maintenance of steam boiler
- Maintain daily productivity with little or no supervision
- Maintain effective completion of daily work orders
Job Qualifications and Competencies:
- Ability to multitask in a busy, fast paced work environment
- Ability to work independently, set and meet own deadlines
- Ability to drive a standard transmission vehicle
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- General construction/plumbing/electrical skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the terminal assigned
- Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs
- Ability to read blueprints
Work Environment:
- Use of computers and other office equipment
- Some travel is required
- Airport ramp environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels
- All shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and/or irregular shifts
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, climbing up and down stairs
- Handle objects up to 70 pounds regularly, up to 100+ pounds occasionally, with assistance from coworkers or tools

Employment is contingent upon a valid driver’s license and clear driving record, 10-year Criminal History Records Check, and drug screen as required. We also require proof of high school or GED completion. Minimum 18 years of age.

Starting Rate:
$17.63/Hourly
