Vantage Accounting Operations is a shared services team responsible for accurately and efficiently recording financial transactions while building positive financial relationships with customers and vendors across North America.
The team coordinates the entry, review, and approval of day-to-day transaction processing in accordance with financial policies and department SLA’s. The team members proactively engage in solving problems through close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in the development and implementation of continuous process improvements by maximizing the use of our technology resources, and continuing education to improve accounting operational efficiency through assessing, standardizing, and streamlining day-to-day processes. The team behaves with integrity, synergy, flexibility, respect, and initiative.
Position Overview
This role can be based in Denver, Colorado.
Vantage is looking for an Accounts Payable Intern to assist on various accounts payable projects and duties. The selected person needs to have a professional image, strong communication and customer service skills.
Essential Job Functions
Invoice Processing:
Assist in the review and processing of vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Run weekly rejected report for open invoices and Pos.
Account Reconciliation:
Reconcile accounts payable transactions by matching invoices to purchase orders and ensuring proper approvals.
Assist in resolving discrepancies with vendors or internal stakeholders.
Vendor Management:
Maintain vendor records, ensuring that contact and payment information is up-to-date.
Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and respond to inquiries.
Reporting and Documentation:
Assist in generating accounts payable reports and analysis for the finance team.
Maintain organized and accurate records of all transactions and relevant documentation.
Additional Duties:
Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.
Job Requirements
Education:
Currently enrolled in a 4-year university pursuing a degree in accounting or similar field.
Language requirements: English, required; French, helpful.
Experience:
Rising Junior or Senior status
Minimum GPA requirement – 3.0
Previous Internship experience preferred but not required

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Skilled at solving problems and dealing with a variety of options with limited information
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook software
Comfortable with IT systems
Positive and proactive attitude.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Additional Details
Hourly Range: $20.00 - $25.00
It is estimated that the internship will run from June 2, 2025, to August 15, 2025.
