Pay Range:
- The full annual pay range is $113,726 - $170,588
- We provide an additional $2.00 per hour bilingual differential for those employees who can support our members' financial needs effectively in a second language; subject to verification of strong grasp of financial terms utilizing language skillset.
Compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer of employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.
Job Overview
Responsible for ensuring the integrity and availability of the organization's network infrastructure. Involves serving as a subject matter expert in Cisco Switching and Routing technology, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance overall security posture, leading advanced troubleshooting efforts, and providing mentorship to junior engineers. Plays a pivotal role in optimizing networking policies, contributing to security architecture decisions, and actively participating in strategic discussions to enhance organizations network infrastructure.
What you’ll do:
- Serves as the subject matter expert on network infrastructure.
- Develops and implements network architecture to ensure highest level of integrity and availability.
- Configures and deploys advanced networking equipment including routers, switches and load balancers.
- Performs diagnostic analysis of the network system, identifying possible faulty devices, troubleshooting faulty modules, troubleshooting network problems and outages.
- Performs root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues.
- Leads development of SD WAN, WiFi and Cloud infrastructure and other network-related projects.
- Provides escalation support to lower-level network engineers for complex circuit related issues.
- Collaborates with the cybersecurity team to contribute to the overall security architecture.
- Provide inputs and recommendations for improving the security posture of the organization.
- Performs on-site (when required) and telephonic technical services necessary to insure the continuing operation and optimization of the network.
- Ensures adherence to network and security frameworks based on the NIST 800-53 model and PCI (Payment Card Industry) for a financial institution.
- Creates and maintains detailed network documentation including diagrams, configuration files, and troubleshooting guides.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of eight (8) years related work experience in network and system security, administrating and managing technologies such as Cisco Switches and Routers.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field of study.
Bonus Points if you have:
- Previous financial institution experience.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Azure Network Engineer Associate certifications.
What you’ll bring:
- Familiarity with NIST 800-53, PCI and CIS Controls Frameworks.
- Experience managing and deploying WAN and SD-WAN technologies based on standard routing protocols.
- Proven experience with enterprise-level networking, including experience with multi-site and cloud environments.
- Advanced knowledge of network protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
- Experience administrating Virtual Private Networking solutions for third-party connectivity.
- Experience with network security solutions (e.g., VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
- Experience with load balancers and webproxies.
- Familiarity with network management and monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark).
- Experience and/or familiarity with Microsoft365 ecosystem.
- Strong commitment to continuous education on networking concepts and cyber security education.
- Outstanding analytical, verbal and written skills.
- Experience/ability to speak, present and market technical concepts to management.
- Experience with writing system and process documentation.
- Willingness to work outside standard business hours to resolves issues or complete special projects.
- Ability to remain highly adaptable in a growing organization.
- Experience implementing security standards, policies and procedures.

This position is eligible for Full-Time Regular benefits. Employees and their eligible family members have access to a wide array of employee benefits, such as medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage. Includes an option for Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance to be paid at a 100% by company for the employee only coverage. We also offer Health Care FSA (HCFSA), Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer contributions, and Dependent Care FSA (DCFSA). Employees also have access to Life and AD&D insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our 401k plan. Full-Time Regular employees accrue 8 hours of vacation and 8 hours of sick leave, on a monthly basis. Full-Time Regular hired employees also receive 11 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, 1 floating holiday, 16 hours of self-care time, and 16 hours of volunteer time (may be prorated based on hire date in the initial calendar year).
All benefits except 401k start the first of the month after 30 days of employment. Employees become eligible to contribute to 401k on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
