JOB OVERVIEW: As our Quality Leader, you will spearhead the creation, implementation, and evolution of our quality systems, driving excellence across all facets of our organization. Your mission? To ensure our equipment not only meets but exceeds customer requirements while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and meeting customer delivery expectations. You’ll be at the forefront of cultivating a culture of quality, inspiring teams, and leading initiatives that ensure consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive Innovation: Design and implement a cutting-edge quality management system tailored to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Lead by Example: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Quality Department across multiple locations, ensuring alignment and high performance.
  • Inspire Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges, introduce new products, and set quality benchmarks for internal and external processes.
  • Foster Improvement: Lead efforts in root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives that elevate our products and processes.
  • Champion Compliance: Ensure adherence to all internal and external quality standards (ISO, customer requirements, etc.), while maintaining transparent and robust documentation.
  • Empower Teams: Build and mentor a high-performing quality team, providing training and development opportunities that elevate skillsets and drive results.
  • Deliver Excellence: Track, analyze, and present key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide decisions and foster accountability.
  • Additional duties as required.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position supervises and manages all employees and aspects of the Quality department.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a Quality Assurance position; experience in manufacturing equipment strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding and application of Lean Six Sigma & Continuous Improvement methodologies; experience managing Continuous Improvement projects
  • Proven experience in quality management or a similar leadership role.
  • A strategic thinker who thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards and compliance requirements (ISO, regulatory agencies, etc.)
  • A leader who inspires teams, drives change, and embodies a commitment to continuous improvement.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

With or without reasonable accommodation minimal time will be spent walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching. Sometime will be spent standing, sitting, talking, and hearing, and using hands to handle, feel and reach. At times up to 50 pounds will need to be lifted. To effectively complete the tasks in this position the following vision requirements are needed: Ability to adjust focus and identify and distinguish colors.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

Minimal time will be spent in wet or humid conditions, and near caustic or toxic chemicals. Sometime will be spent working near moving mechanical parts. The noise level is moderate (examples: business office with computers and printers).
