Part-Time HR Intern

Part-Time HR Intern (In Office in Oak Brook)

 

What you’ll do:

Recruiting:

  • Create job postings from job descriptions. Incorporate co info into job descriptions to sell the co and its culture/benefits
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews
  • Help with getting automated On-Boarding ready for launch
  • Help Corporate Recruiter screen candidates
  • Provide input on company career page enhancements

 

On-Boarding:

  • Set up workstations and provide swag for new hires
  • Complete new hire records in HRMS (Bamboo)
  • Help with enhancing the pre and post hire experience for new hires
  • Provide and collect NH paperwork
  • Prepare new hire announcements
  • Support Corporate Recruiter and help survey new hires on on-boarding experience; identify and address on-boarding improvement initiatives

 

Learning & Development:

  • Maintain employees and group assignments in our learning platform, Go1
  • Identify and publicize courses in Go1 to increase utilization
  • Run reports in Go1

 

Engagement / Employee Relations:

  • Assume ownership of and publicize our wellness initiatives
  • Assist in developing/deploying pulse surveys
  • Partner with HR Director on the facilitation of company Focus Group

 

Miscellaneous:

  • Audit all I9s for completeness and accuracy
  • Maintain data integrity in Bamboo; perform mass updates of employee data
  • Produce reports from Bamboo

 

What you’ll need for success:

  • A devotion to pursuit of a career in HR
  • Upper classman in an HR curriculum preferred, but will consider Sophomores
  • An interest in a long-term internship (lasting more than 1 semester)
  • Ability to work in Oak Brook a minimum of 16 hours per week
