Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist

Job Description: Environmental & Safety Specialist/EMS Coordinator
Prequalification’s: B.S. Degree or equivalent and 5 years’ experience in the environmental field required.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain environmental compliance with all applicable environmental regulations.
• Maintain compliance with existing air permits, and file applications for new permits as
Required.
• Maintain compliance with wastewater discharge permit.
• Maintain compliance with storm water discharge permit.
• Maintain compliance with generation, storage, and disposal of solid waste and RCRA hazardous waste.
• Periodically evaluate work areas and determine teammate chemical exposure levels in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Maintain Hazard Communication Program in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Maintain compliance with DOT hazardous materials shipping regulations.
• Maintain MFG Environmental Manual.
• Prepare and distribute Quarterly Compliance Report.
• Submit reports to various government agencies as required.
• Conduct environmental, Hazard Communication, DOT, and miscellaneous training as necessary.
• Ensure all teammates under their supervision adhere to all applicable environmental & safety plans, policies, and procedures.
• Awareness and understanding of their roles and responsibilities within all applicable environmental & safety plans, policies, and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
