Tax Professional & Customer Service Interns

 Optimum Financial Services, a leader in the tax industry with over 20 years of experience, is seeking ambitious and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as **Tax Professional & Customer Service Interns**. This role provides hands-on training, skill development, and a chance to be part of an innovative, client-focused company.  

This internship is designed for individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and gain real-world experience in tax preparation, customer service, and office operations. Interns will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional customer service and accurate tax solutions.  

**Key Responsibilities**  
- Provide a warm, welcoming experience for clients by assisting with inquiries and appointments.  
- Accurately prepare federal and state income tax returns, adhering to IRS guidelines.  
- Support marketing efforts by offering free estimates and distributing referral cards.  
- Participate in team projects, helping to enhance departmental operations.  
- Handle general office duties, such as filing, organizing, and maintaining professionalism in the workspace.  
- Adapt to varied working conditions, including standing for extended periods and occasional outdoor tasks.  

**Qualifications**  
- At least 6 months of experience in a professional office setting.  
- Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn multiple new software systems.  
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.  
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team, while meeting office goals.  
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability, including weekends and evenings.  
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.  

- Must be available to train in office during Holiday break.
