*Expectations
As a QHSE Intern (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) at Valmet you will work in a hands-on learning environment, assisting in continuous improvement projects for local site Quality and HSE initiatives.
This may include:
- Use tools and techniques to analyze and solve problems.
- Assist in investigation of equipment and facility issues.
- Review and contribute to software documentation.
- Analyze business requirements to assist in documented audits and corrective actions.
- Support 5S Team with local workshop projects.
*To succeed in this role you will need
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Interns are compensated and required to be enrolled in a two- or four-year degree program.
- Good troubleshooting ability, manual dexterity, and ability to read and comprehend technical documentation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft 360 and associated applications).
- Ability to multi-task and work independently and in a team environment.
- Must be enrolled in two- or four-year degree program applicable to technology, engineering, environmental studies, health, or safety.
- Must be enrolled in a school that is close to Neenah, WI.
