Multi-Year Internship - Student Trainee (Investigations) - OECA

This is an office-centered position*--you must physically report to one of the duty stations stated in this announcement on a regular basis (location TBD after candidate selected).

Duties
At the GS-04 level, you will:
Assist in the performance of other standardized support duties such as the collection of evidence and the organization of files. Assist with routine steps in investigative work and support higher-graded staff in planning for program management.
- Attend meetings with Special Agents to define/clarify/refine needs and requirements of investigations. Perform routine portions of investigations that involve gathering facts and evidence that must be identified and analyzed to discern interrelationships.
- Inspect documents for accuracy and compliance and compare basic information to established requirements to identify and correct errors and omissions in files and documents, searching, compiling, and arranging data in a usable format, identifying facts, and considering relevance to the assignment.
- Use several types of office automation tools, such as word processing, graphics, spreadsheets, and database management skills to compile and manipulate information into various formats. Apply knowledge of various software functions to generate reports used by senior staff. Assemble materials for staff associated with investigation milestones. Also, assemble other material for briefings and meetings which may include overhead projectors, video equipment, computers, etc., as needed
At the GS-05 level, you will:
