Russian, Romanian, Georgian, Kazakh Languages: Student Research Intern
The USC Annenberg Norman Lear Center is currently seeking paid student interns to join our team for an exciting research project this Winter.
Please only apply if you are fluent in one or more of the following languages:
- Romanian
- Russian
- Georgian
- Kazakh
Students can complete work from anywhere in the United States.
Students will be reading and labeling/annotating social media posts and other narrative content, which will then be used to generate machine learning algorithms.
Experience with sorting tasks, data labeling, generating training data for machine learning, Mechanical Turk work, content moderation, media content analysis, or similar are desirable but not required.
Work will range from zero hours per week some weeks up to 20 hours per week - depending on when there are assignments to work on.
The internship is for Winter 2024 - students must be active continuing USC students to qualify.
