Relational Marketing Specialist

The Purpose:

The Relational Marketing Specialist will help you to gain a new skill set in the world of entertainment marketing.  You will develop an inside education in becoming the kind of marketing and events professional that promotions companies are eager to hire and keep.

Sun Events Entertainment is a concerts promotions business working to bring strong regional and national talent to venues in Florida and on national tours. You will be helping to develop the street team and social media strategy throughout Florida for Sun Events. At the same time, Sun Events will be a safe training ground where you can develop your own abilities and skills.

Your Commitment to Sun Events:

Social Media Machine - You’ll participate in refining our social media strategy, including input into Facebook/Youtube/ etc. advertising campaigns.  This will include posting to Sun Events and developing promotional contests to create buzz for upcoming events.

Relationship Builder – This is an opportunity for you to learn about developing relationships with local businesses. You will speak with proprietors/managers to solidify locations for poster and handout placement as well as promote shows via word-of-mouth.

Digital Marketing Creator – Work with our Marketing Director directly to learn more about digital marketing strategy and creation. Work to hone your skills on graphic design, video production, photography. The artists we work with will directly benefit from the creation of video & still photos you are able to create to boost their brand.

Day-of-Event Assistant – You will be present, in a hands-on role, at shows you have worked so hard to spread the word about.  You’ll get to meet the entertainers, interact with the attendees, and experience the show.
