Research Associate

Dr. Onur Cil is looking for research associates for his laboratory-based research program. The main area of research is small molecule drug discovery for kidney, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, pulmonary and ocular diseases. The candidates are expected to perform basic animal experiments (mouse) and cell culture studies. The animal experiments include handling, anesthesia, injections and biological sample collection (blood, urine, stool etc.). The cell work includes basic cell culture for proliferation of existing cell lines and performing certain measurements (fluorescence etc.) using existing equipment. The experiments require preparation of buffers and solutions using existing recipe. The candidates with cell culture and/or animal experience are strongly preferred.
