Data Analytics Intern (Summer 2025)

POSITION TITLE: Data Analytics Intern

 

COMPENSATION: Hourly rate $16.50 – $20.00

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

DURATION: Summer 2025 (3 months)

LOCATION: Downtown Los Angeles (onsite) with paid parking provided

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Data Analysis Intern will support the Bank’s Analytics department in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to gain insights into customer behavior, risk management, and business performance. The candidate will work closely with our team of data analysts to assist with data modeling, applying statistical methodology, and building data visualization tools.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Collect and process data from various sources.
  • Conduct data cleaning and ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist with creating data models and predictive algorithms.
  • Analyze and interpret data to gain insights into customer behavior and business performance.
  • Create data visualization tools to present data trends and patterns.
  • Participate in team meetings and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Assist with ad-hoc data analysis requests.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analysis/Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel .
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Applicants having existing Data projects /internship experience will be preferred.
