Children with Differing Abilities (CWDA) Supervisor
Chippewa County is accepting applications for two (2) NEW Children, Youth & Families Services (CYFS) Supervisors within the Department of Human Services – Children with Differing Abilities (CWDA) Division. One of the Supervisor positions will be supervising Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) and the other will be supervising Children’s Long-Term Support-Waiver (CLTS). The job duties of the Supervisor positions include but are not limited to: assisting the Director and Children, Youth, and Families Services Division Manager(s) in overall leadership, supervision and management of the Human Services Department. The primary responsibilities include: supporting and coaching Social Work staff, designing a continuum of services, and coordinating programs.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or closely related human services field required. State of Wisconsin Social Work Certification/Licensure or Professional Counselor License (LPC) required upon hire. Three (3) years of recent professional human services work experience required. Experience working with Special Needs Children required. Experience in mental health and substance use and the impact of individuals and families preferred. Experience in children and youth services at the county level preferred. Management/supervisory/lead worker experience preferred. Starting Wage: $36.07 - $40.08 per hour depending on qualifications plus an excellent fringe benefit package. Maximum Wage: $48.10 per hour
