Human Resources Intern
Summary: Working in the Human Resources and Safety department and assisting with different projects that will include all aspects of safety & training including working with other Safety and HR employees on team projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties as assigned
- Assist with sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and tracking applicants.
- Assist Driver Services in resolving driver issues and requests as needed.
- Working in and filing personnel files when needed. Confidentiality is a must.
- Prepare Orientation and Training Packets, process new hire paperwork.
- Data entry with projects when needed.
- Driver outreach and retention calls.
Education and/or Experience: Interested in pursuing a degree in human resources or
related field. Customer service, sales, telemarketing experience or training is
beneficial.
Special Training: Computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint is beneficial.
Special Skills: Communication and organizational skills, an attention to detail, and the ability to multitask is required. Needs engaging outgoing personality and able to work and perform as a team player.
