Human Resources Intern

Summary: Working in the Human Resources and Safety department and assisting with different projects that will include all aspects of safety & training including working with other Safety and HR employees on team projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties as assigned

  1. Assist with sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and tracking applicants.
  2. Assist Driver Services in resolving driver issues and requests as needed.
  3. Working in and filing personnel files when needed. Confidentiality is a must. 
  4. Prepare Orientation and Training Packets, process new hire paperwork. 
  5. Data entry with projects when needed.
  6. Driver outreach and retention calls. 

 

Education and/or Experience: Interested in pursuing a degree in human resources or

related field. Customer service, sales, telemarketing experience or training is

beneficial.

Special Training: Computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint is beneficial.

Special Skills: Communication and organizational skills, an attention to detail, and the ability to multitask is required. Needs engaging outgoing personality and able to work and perform as a team player.
