Marketing and Proposal Development Lead

Job Summary: The Proposal and Marketing Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing the full lifecycle of proposal development for Noble Construction. This includes leading the proposal process from initial strategy through final submission, ensuring timely, high-quality responses to Requests for Proposals/Qualifications (RFP/Qs). The role also involves supporting the company’s marketing efforts by crafting and curating content for digital platforms, assisting with event coordination, and maintaining a consistent brand presence across all media.
Key Responsibilities:
Proposal Management (75-100%)
- Gather project details, images, and supporting documents from project managers and other team members to develop compelling bid proposals.
- Use Adobe InDesign to format and produce high-quality proposals that align with Noble Texas Builders’ brand standards.
- Prepare and submit award entries, showcasing key projects and achievements to highlight Noble Texas Builders’ impact and expertise.
- Organize proposal and award content efficiently, ensuring accuracy and clarity to meet strict deadlines.
- Coordinate proposal timelines and review meetings to keep projects on track and meet all submission requirements.
- Continuously refine proposal and award content to improve quality and align with the company's voice and project experience.
Marketing Support (up to 25%)
- Serve as a primary marketing content writer, crafting content for LinkedIn, website posts, and CRM campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator to manage the firm’s digital presence and maintain a consistent brand voice.
- Regularly communicate with project teams to identify marketing opportunities, success stories, and PR opportunities.
- Assist the Director of Communications with content development for industry events and presentations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Support the creative development and production of marketing deliverables, including RFQ/RFP responses and presentations.
- Stay current with RFQ opportunities and assess RFP requirements.
- Research and develop value-added responses for construction approaches tailored to client needs.
- Ensure compliance with RFQ/RFP requirements and coordinate proposal submissions.
- Attend proposal pre-submittal meetings and schedule attendance for team members as necessary.
- Provide original written content for proposals, resumes, organizational charts, and other specialized sections.
- Maintain and organize all proposal and marketing data within CRM software.
- Attend customer debriefs as necessary.
- Assist with event coordination for trade shows, conferences, and company events.
- Support general office needs with collateral design and production.
- Award submittals
- Cross-train other marketing team members as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and MS Office; knowledge of CRM software and construction programs is highly desired.
- Demonstrated ability to reinforce Noble Construction’s brand through high-quality storytelling.
- Strong marketing experience with a creative, innovative approach.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to make technical data engaging.
- Visionary thinking with leadership capabilities to guide junior team members.
- Organized, reliable, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Team player with the ability to see the bigger picture.
- Flexible and adaptable to changes in tasks or schedules.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work 40 hours per week or more if required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. unassisted.
- May require prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing throughout the workday.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurability required for job-related travel.
- Must maintain strict confidentiality regarding company information.
Office Attendance:
- Consistent and reliable attendance is essential. Team members must adhere to scheduled work hours and demonstrate punctuality.
- Working Conditions:
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday. Occasional on-call availability may be required.
- Environment: Office-based with potential for occasional travel to other company locations.
