Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position provides an excellent opportunity for growth and development in the construction industry. As a Junior Project Coordinator, you will work closely with senior project managers and construction teams to assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Support: Assist in the day-to-day coordination of multiple construction projects, ensuring that project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Documentation: Maintain and organize project files, contracts, blueprints, permits, and other essential documentation.
- Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination: Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to track material deliveries, schedule work, and resolve any issues that arise.
- Scheduling: Help develop and update project schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and resources are allocated efficiently.
- Permit & Compliance Tracking: Assist with obtaining necessary permits, ensuring all regulatory and safety compliance requirements are met throughout the project.
- Field Support: Attend project meetings and site visits to monitor progress, take notes, and report on any issues that may arise.
- Budget Tracking: Assist in monitoring project budgets, preparing cost reports, and ensuring financial goals are met.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolution of any concerns.
- General Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the project management team, including preparing reports, tracking invoices, and assisting with procurement.
Qualifications:
- Education: A degree or diploma in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in project coordination, construction, or a related field. Entry-level candidates with a passion for construction and project management are encouraged to apply.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Buildertrend, CoConstruct or similar) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of construction processes, terminology, and safety standards.
