Claims Management Supervisor
A Day in the Life:
This role is responsible for the People and processes that support the reporting of claims from the field locations and third parties where subrogation opportunities exist.
Some of these processes include reporting incidents, promptly recording the accuracy of claims, documenting the cost of damages, establishing a claim's liability, and initiating litigation against relevant parties when necessary. This team will manage supporting documents related to damages and communicate with customers.

We’re gearing up for our move to Oklahoma’s mission critical business and technology campus – 7725 Connect, located at 7725 W Reno Ave, OKC, OK 73127. This move is scheduled for November and this location will be the new onsite requirement for this position moving forward. Depending on start date, there may be an instance of where the new hire will temporarily work at the existing location of 5601 NW Expressway until the move occurs. This position is based in Oklahoma City. The starting salary for this position is $55,000.
What You’ll Do:
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of data entry into Case Manager/ Filenet
- Manage the handling of First Party claims to ensure that all subrogation potential is identified and referred to CRU within agreed deadlines
- Manage the process of identifying Third Party claims and referring them to the Liability office with agreed upon timeliness
- Oversee the collection team to ensure targets are meet and assistance is provided.
- Create a formal communication structure with the Hertz locations to provide feedback on the quality and timeliness of FNOL notifications and other critical issues.
- Any other ad hoc tasks, duties or projects as required.
- Control workflow and workloads within the team to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Set targets and priorities for the area, and for individuals, and monitor and influence and report upon performance towards achieving the targets so that agreed results for both company and staff member is achieved
- Monitor attendance, holidays, sick days and personal issues so as to ensure company guidelines, HR and policies are adhered to.
- Manage a self-audit program to monitor compliance with procedures and enforcement of quality standards and customer service.
- Recommend system and procedural enhancements to improve the working environment and improve efficiency
- Pro-actively communicate with internal and external customers to develop a strong, professional credibility for the department. Conduct weekly team meetings to ensure free flow of communication throughout company.
What We’re Looking For:
- Insurance or collection background, Strong leadership and people management skills, professionalism, strong negotiation skills
- Bachelor's degree in business and/or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of insurance relating to Auto Damage (preferred).
