Duties
- Serves within the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Information Operations (J6), Program Executive Office (J62), DSS/WMS Portfolio (J62D).
- The incumbent functions as a senior systems analyst of a project/program support team and performs complex information technology (IT) systems assignments.
- Applies analytical processes to the planning, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of a variety of complex, critical software development and integration services to include Distribution Standard System (DSS), Warehouse Management System (WMS), and SAP.
- Work with customer functional proponents in their formulation of requirements that results in a new system design or major modification to Automated Information Systems (AIS).
- Performs “level of effort” assessment/ impact analysis in collaboration with customers, coworkers, and system users for fixes, enhancements, and other changes based on high level business requirements.
- Assists in the evaluation, selection, and integration of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and/or Government-off-the-shelf (GOTS) solutions.
- Responsible for developing, coordinating, operating, evaluating and executing IT/OT project management for various aspects of the J62 portfolio, and the assigned programs.
- Provides support in achieving DLA audit readiness goals and objectives to include direct support to audit readiness teams through the completion of specific tasks and deliverables.
- Responsible for capturing and interpreting metrics related to technical performance of deployed capabilities as assigned.
- Maintains communications and situational awareness of project scope, schedules, resource requirements and status with all stakeholders to include: project team members, team member supervisors, senior management, and a wide array of DLA customers.
