Job Overview:
Due to Company growth, we are actively seeking an Entry Level Pole Inspector to join our team in Long Island, NY. This is an entry-level role for a three-year project and has the potential to help you build a career in construction with K&A. The starting rate for this position is $16/hr. with eligibility to increase to $19/hr. after 90 days! Candidates must be able to report to the office in Hicksville, Long Island.

Responsibilities & Duties:
Entry Level Pole Inspector services include but are not limited to the following:
- Take picturedocumentation of existingtransmission and distribution poles with provided equipment.
- Verify assets and identification of third-party attachments to distribution and transmission pole plants.
- Must be able to achieve and maintain acceptable levels of productivity and quality of work including inspection of 14 poles per hour or more.
- Must be able to achieve and maintain acceptable levels of productivity and quality of work to include inspection of 14 poles per hour or more.
Qualifications & Skills:
- No priorexperience required; paid training provided
- Must be at least 18 years of age orolder
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must maintain a consistence attendance record
- Applicants shouldhave the knowledge, experience and skillsneeded to review project plans, specifications, contract enforcement, and applicable technical standards, OSHA, and other regulatory statutes
- Must be able to walk or stand for prolonged periods, ability to lift 25 pounds over head and work on uneven and rugged terrain and in many different elements of weather
- Ability to work on uneven and rugged terrainand in many different elementsof weather
- Must be able to provideown transportation to worksite in Hicksville, NY.
