Industial Services Manager
Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others. Responsible for the retention and growth strategies within all market segments building strong, strategic customer relations with the Company’s principle industrial customers and trade allies serving those markets. Identifies and recommends potential business partners, negotiates agreements and alternatives to meet needs of customers while providing adequate ROI for the Company in accordance with rules and tariffs. Manages projects and contracting process with new prospective industrial and/or large commercial customers. Develops and manages projects involving RNG, Hydrogen, and other emerging technologies.
Cascade is expanding investment in renewable natural gas and low carbon fuel production. Cascade is adding this position to specifically focus in this exciting and emerging area. The position will be specifically focused on these efforts and specifically on identification and development of RNG and LCF projects.
Desired location for this position is in one of Cascade's offices in Bellingham, Mount Vernon, or Kennewick, WA. Other Cascade locations, MDUG locations, or remote locations will be considered. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires a proficient knowledge of energy and engineering concepts and principles at a level normally acquired through a four-year degree in economics, business, marketing, or engineering.
- Six years of related business experience in the energy industry or economic development field.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage, or unauthorized access.
- Position requires regular travel within service territory.
- Required to maintain a valid driver’s license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A full understanding of energy commodity markets.
- Thorough knowledge of gas supply, transportation and operations of natural gas pipeline and storage facilities.
- Contract negotiation and closing experience with emphasis on technical aspects of gas-fired end-use applications in large volume heating and process uses preferred and/or technical aspects of RNG, hydrogen and other projects involving emerging carbon neutral technologies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the development, approval and implementation of plans, policies, procedures, goals, and objectives to further the Company’s industrial services, energy services, and decarbonization strategies.
- Aggressively seeks out strategic new industrial and large commercial customers that will support the Company growth strategy and enhance overall Company earnings.
- Aggressively seeks out strategic new RNG, Hydrogen and similar customers that will support the Company’s environmental and regulatory objectives and requirements.
- Acts as lead point of contact for prospective large volume customers and RNG and other green fuels developers. Obtains customer load information from customers and facility extension cost estimates from Engineering or Field Operations. Obtains internal approvals for projects, generates proposed contracts, and obtains customer commitments.
- Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
Offers typically start between $114,580 - $143,220
