Position Available: Energy Auditor (Full-Time)

Would you like a job where you are responsible for performing residential energy audits, preparing work orders, and become an expert in building science? 

R6 Regional Council is now accepting applications for a full-time Energy Auditor. This green workforce position involves working on residential homes to assess and improve energy efficiency. If you have experience in construction or energy efficiency and are looking for a rewarding career in the green energy sector, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct energy audits on residential homes to identify areas for efficiency improvements.
  • Utilize computers, iPads, hand tools, and power tools effectively in the auditing process.
  • Apply sound judgment, organizational skills, and time management in daily tasks.
  • Interact positively with homeowners and team members to achieve energy efficiency goals.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year of construction experience or training.
  • Skills: Good people skills, sound judgment, organization skills, time management, and proficiency in using technology and tools.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Thursday, 40 hours per week
  • Salary: $37,000 - $50,000 per year, we pay based on experience.
  • Benefits: Medical—100 % employer-paid coverage, 12 paid holidays, Paid time off, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, and Retirement.
