Intern, Event Management (Spring or Summer 2025)

At Chamberlain Group, our interns work on real, meaningful projects that are at the center of our business strategy and our company’s transformation.  Our program offers you:

  • Community Giving: Attend volunteer outings with other interns to give back in the community.
     

Note: This role can either be structured as a 16-week Spring Co-op (January–April) or a 12 week Summer Internship (May/June–August/September) based on candidate availability and/or preference.


Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate customer events, trade shows, and internal meetings by managing transportation, hotel room blocks, activity contracts and reservations, and crafting and distributing communications through digital platforms.
  • Align event messaging with ongoing marketing campaigns to maintain cohesive brand representation.
  • Maintain and update event-related data in Excel, Teams, and Salesforce.
  • Research and propose creative, engaging activities for customers, prospects, and internal teams to enhance event experiences.
  • Submit requests and provide feedback on graphics for signage and itineraries.
  • Assist in designing and ordering branded promotional items and giveaways.
  • Develop post-event summaries, including PowerPoint presentations and data sheets, for internal reviews.
  • Create, distribute, and analyze results from event surveys.
  • Support event shipping, setup, and coordination for key events and trade shows.
  • Provide administrative support to Sales and Marketing teams, including managing Salesforce leads, forms, and data.
  • Contribute to the development of channel newsletters.
  • Create engaging social media content to promote events and trade shows.
  • Take on special projects and other tasks as assigned.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Self-motivated and curious, capable of conducting independent research.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to contribute fresh ideas and perspectives.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Salesforce (Marketing Cloud) or similar CRM platforms.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) or Canva.
  • Knowledge or interest in audio products.
