Environmental, Health & Safety Summer Internship 2025: Pharmaceutical Industry

We currently have multiple opportunities for a Summer 2025 Intern in the Fresenius Kabi Pharmaceutical Division to join the biomedical manufacturing team in Chicago, IL. This internship will take place in our Environmental, Health, and Safety department, focusing primarily on tasks and projects related to building safety and our environmental footprint.

Internship Project (subject to change based on department):

Investigate current department deviations and improvement opportunities, including root cause analysis, presenting investigation reports to colleagues and supervisors, and developing sustainable solutions.

Internship Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Support plant operations and department specific projects.
• Participate in department and project specific team meetings.
• Support inventory management.
• Support data collection, analysis, and entry.
• Participate in two charitable events.
• Performs other duties as required by Supervisor in support of daily lab operations.

Internship Requirements:

• Currently enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university program.
• Pursuing a degree related to business operations.
• Minimum classification of a sophomore / rising junior.
• Must be planning to return to school at the end of summer break.
