Spring Intern, Programs & Research

We are seeking a spring intern to join our team and support Programs & Research. As a spring intern at Out Leadership, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and gain valuable experience in the field of LGBTQ+ equality.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is self-motivated and a team-player.
  • Is imaginative and creative, as well as thoughtful, analytical and a problem-solver.
  • Is organized with attention to detail.
  • Wants to work in a very small close-knit team.
  • Is passionate about advancing LGBTQ+ equality.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative research data on LGBTQ+ equality (surveys, literature reviews, interviews, etc.).
  • Write newsletter updates and articles relating to LGBTQ+ talent development, leadership, and global advocacy.
  • Develop curriculum programming for Out Leadership’s global business summits, in addition to our OutNEXT, OutWOMEN+, and OutQUORUM talent initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Out Leadership’s member firms and nonprofit partner organizations through research and programming collaborations, as well as advise on the business imperative for LGBTQ+ equality.
  • Participate in Out Leadership’s in-person and virtual events and business summits.
  • Provide general support to the Out Leadership team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in a related field.
  • Strong interest in LGBTQ+ equality and inclusion in the workplace.
  • Excellent research and writing skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
