About the Role
Truscott Rossman understands the importance of content in the communications industry. As a Content Intern, you’ll support the creation, publication, and distribution of content for diverse clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency every step of the way. This role is perfect for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual eager to gain hands-on experience in content creation and digital communications.

Key Details

  • Pay: $15 per hour, with options for college credit.
  • Hours: 15+ hours weekly (15-20 preferred in summer), adaptable to school schedules.
  • Duration: Follows semester timelines, with potential for extensions.
  • Location: Remote, with optional in-person work at our Detroit, Lansing, or Grand Rapids offices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and draft compelling content for digital platforms, blogs, social media, and websites
  • Work with the team to support content strategies, ensuring timely and quality deliverables
  • Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends and relevant news
  • Assist in editing and proofing materials to maintain accuracy and tone
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions for innovative content ideas

Preferred Skills

  • Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and content marketing strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and applying new digital tools and techniques to content creation.
