2025 Investment Banking Summer Analyst
Details: Hybrid, Full Time and Part Time, Paid internship
Start Date: 5/26/25 (flexible) - 20-40 hours a week.

You will play an essential role in supporting the firm’s M&A activities in the lower-middle-market IT sector. This position will give you exposure across business development, client onboarding, seller GTM, managing buyer interest, and more.
Applicants will be reached out to on a rolling basis until the intern Analyst positions are filled. The ideal applicant can work in person M-W in the Cleveland Office (a minimum of 2 days in the office is required). Previous interns have gone on to work at top investment banks and private equity firms in New York, Cleveland, and Chicago.
Requirements:
- Hard working, self-starting team player with an intense desire to learn the essentials of mergers and acquisitions
- Demonstrated strong financial interest and aptitude
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and CRM tools (HubSpot)
- Experience and passion for deal processing
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Basic accounting and finance aptitude

- 20+ Hour Commitment
- Keen interest in Investment Banking and IT
- Working towards bachelor's degree in business, finance, or other related field
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Update database and prospect lists
- Create buyer profiles, process pertinent documents, and actively track buyers
- Assist Business Development, Marketing, and other initiatives within the firm
- Prepare presentations, blind profiles, acquisition criteria and other materials
- Provide audits and analyses for various stages of client transactions
- Analyze business performance, market opportunities, investments, and make actionable recommendations

- Learning Outcomes - an in depth and hands on experience of the lower-middle market M&A process; including a mastery of documents, Microsoft suite, and an understanding of the IT space.
- Interns will receive training on conducting industry research, sales, creating PowerPoint decks, Excel modeling, M&A negotiation skills, management of due diligence, and much more.
