Legal Assistant
Pinkert Law Firm LLP is seeking a talented and highly organized legal assistant. The ideal candidate will have a dependable work ethic and strong customer service skills. Your role is to provide administrative support to our attorneys and assist them in providing exceptional services to our clients and community.
Main responsibilities include:
- Organize and maintain client files
- Draft and proofread legal documents
- Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings/court proceedings
- File and record legal documents
- Communicate with clients and other professionals
The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality regarding client and office information
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to effectively and efficiently handle multiple tasks
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with the aptitude for working with new programs and software
- Prior office or legal experience is preferred, but not required to apply
