Fly Fishing Content Creator

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Content Creator to bring fresh perspectives to our brand and engage our audience with captivating visuals and storytelling. This role offers a unique blend of travel experiences and in-house creative work, allowing you to explore the world's fly fishing destinations while honing your visual storytelling skills. Expect 3-4 larger trips per year, some international and some domestic. This is an entry-level position. The ideal candidate for this position has between 1-5 years of experience in video production.
 

Key Responsibilities:

-In-House Still Photography & Video Production:

-Conduct product photography sessions, focusing on high-quality images on a white backdrop.

-Shoot and edit videos, both in our studio and in the field, for various platforms, including YouTube and Instagram.

 

Travel Content Creation:

-Embark on exciting travel adventures to create engaging lodge profiles and fishing trip videos showcasing fly fishing around the globe. Expect roughly 3-4 larger trips per year, some international and some domestic. View some of our past videos here.

-Produce high-quality highlight videos of fishing trips.

-Capture the essence of fly fishing experiences through creative storytelling.

-Lifestyle photography for use in email marketing and on our website.

 

Time Management and Organization:

-Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

-Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

-Utilize various software and platforms for project management and organization.

 

Requirements:

-Proven experience in video production and still photography. 

-Proficiency in Davinci Resolve and the Adobe Creative Suite.

-Excellent time management and organizational skills.

-Proficient in using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

-Ability to travel extensively and work in-office in Portland, Maine.

-Strong storytelling, creative thinking, and visual skills.

-[Optional] Experience or a strong interest in fly fishing is highly beneficial, though not required.

-[Optional] Experience with Ortery capture software and systems is beneficial.
