The mission of the physical security team is to support the security needs of the site, as well as support the overall mission of the Global Trust and Security team of Protecting the Worlds Data by Protecting Seagate through collaborations with various security functions. About the role - you will:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to assist in the creation and enhancement of process documentation for our Regional Security Operations Center (RSOC) and emergency response procedures. This role is ideal for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in security operations and documentation practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with RSOC team members to gather information on existing processes and procedures.
- Create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for RSOC operations and emergency response protocols.
- Assist in developing training materials and guides based on documented processes.
- Review and update existing documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss documentation needs and progress.
- Conduct research on best practices in process documentation and emergency response.
About you:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to present complex information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in security operations and emergency management is a plus.
Your experience includes:
- Familiarity with documentation tools is a plus (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Sharepoint).
- Currently pursuing a degree in Security Management, Business Administration, Communications or a relevant field.

The estimated base wage range for this position is $20 - $29.50/hr. The individual base wage is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Seagate offers comprehensive benefits to its eligible Interns, including, but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, and participation in the employee stock purchase plan. Seagate also offers Interns paid time off, including 12 holidays and a minimum of 48 hours of paid sick leave. The benefits for this position are based on a 24 to 40-hour-per-week schedule for a full calendar year and may differ depending on work location and tenure with the Company.
