Role Overview:
We’re seeking a Marketing, Sales, and Business Development Manager who is excited to help nonprofits achieve their fundraising goals in a new and engaging way. This role is crucial to driving growth, establishing relationships, and guiding nonprofits through the process of adopting Thropic as a game-changing fundraising tool. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social impact, excellent communication skills, and experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development and Sales:
- Identify and Reach Out to Nonprofits: Proactively identify potential nonprofit partners and introduce them to Thropic Games through outreach campaigns, networking events, and digital channels.
- Lead Generation and Qualification: Develop, manage, and nurture a pipeline of nonprofits, understanding their specific needs and matching them with Thropic’s fundraising solutions.
- Consultative Selling: Build trust with nonprofit executive directors by understanding their challenges and demonstrating how Thropic can transform their fundraising efforts. Conduct online demos and presentations to highlight the benefits of Thropic Games.
- Negotiate Partnerships: Facilitate the onboarding process, negotiate partnership agreements, and close deals effectively.
Marketing:
- Campaign Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging campaigns that resonate with nonprofit audiences. Develop messaging and marketing materials that effectively communicate Thropic’s value proposition.
- Content Creation: Craft targeted content—such as emails, case studies, and social media posts—that encourages nonprofits to explore Thropic Games. Focus on storytelling that emphasizes our impact, donor engagement, and ease of use.
- Event Planning and Promotion: Plan and participate in webinars, conferences, and virtual events to promote Thropic Games to a broad audience of nonprofit leaders.
Relationship Building:
- Partnership Development: Build relationships with key stakeholders at nonprofits, establishing Thropic as a trusted partner. Work closely with executive directors and fundraising teams to develop customized campaigns.
- Customer Success Support: Ensure nonprofits understand how to effectively use Thropic Games to achieve their goals, providing guidance from setup through campaign execution and offering continued support for long-term engagement.
Strategy Development:
- Market Insights: Keep a pulse on nonprofit fundraising trends and needs. Use insights to shape our messaging and identify new partnership opportunities.
- Collaborate with Product and Marketing Teams: Provide feedback from nonprofits to product teams to enhance the user experience and add valuable features to Thropic’s offerings.
What We’re Looking For:
- Passion for Social Impact: You care deeply about nonprofits and their missions and are excited about helping them raise more money through innovative solutions.
- 3+ Years of Experience in a sales, marketing, or business development role, preferably with experience working with nonprofits or in the tech sector.
- Excellent Communication Skills: You’re a great listener, effective speaker, and persuasive writer who can craft messages that inspire nonprofits to take action.
- Self-Starter: You’re proactive, able to work independently, and comfortable building relationships from the ground up.
- Consultative Approach: You excel at understanding client needs and providing solutions that meet their goals. You enjoy educating potential partners on new ideas.
- Results-Oriented: You love setting ambitious goals and achieving them. You thrive in a dynamic environment where you can measure your success by the number of nonprofits you engage and onboard.
