Fulfillment Specialist

Job Title: (Sales Order) Fulfillment Specialist

Location: San Diego, CA

Company: Privately-Owned Board Game Company

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 per year + incredible benefits (profit sharing, healthcare, "half-day Fridays", generous PTO, Paid Holidays, + more)

Reports To: Demand & Fulfillment Supervisor

 

 

As the (Sales Order) Fulfillment Specialist, you will be the point person for fulfilling all Amazon orders, and supporting the processing of the rest of the open sales order book. You will work directly with our warehouse to get the product shipped out accurately and on time. You will also assist in the monthly distribution of account memos, compliance standards and ensuring current guidelines are adhered to.

 

 

Job Description:

 

Amazon Order Fulfillment - 65%

 

● Supervise retail and direct fulfillment order fulfillment operations for Amazon US,

Canada, and UK (EDI only).

● Act as the primary contact for all Amazon order fulfillment/processing matters.

● Supervise and coordinate the flow of Amazon purchase orders (POs) via Electronic Data

Interchange (EDI) between Vendor Central, Cin7, and the warehouse.

● Monitor and address all chargebacks and manage reconciliation.

● Develop and maintain internal spreadsheets related to Amazon.

 

Retail and E-commerce Order Support - 25%

 

● Support retail order fulfillment when called upon in such tasks as:

○ Enter/update sales orders into Cin7

○ Order item labels

  • Generate carton labels/pallet labels/packing lists/invoices

○ Submit ASNs/send tracking information

● Track and combat counterfeits across online selling channels & marketplaces, with

supporting weekly reports.

● Update dates and tracking information on DTC (Shopify) orders.

 

Admin - 10%

 

● Assist in various projects and admin tasks.

● Support any needed invoice & chargeback research and review.

● Develop and distribute internal Amazon memos bi weekly.

● Maintaining the Amazon SOP to make sure data is up to date and relevant.

Collaboration and Soft Skills

● Collaborate closely with the 3PL and Fulfillment Supervisor, Demand & Fulfillment

Supervisor and Supply Chain Director, as well as other DSS staff.

● Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of the role.

● Willing to ask for help and work in a collaborative manner.

● Highly process-oriented; assist in the development of well-documented and easily

replicable processes.

Requirements:

● Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in managing order fulfillment

and data entry.

● Experience with Amazon Vendor Central or Seller Central, Amazon Direct Fulfillment

and/or managing EDI transactions

● Experience working in an administrative or operations support role for at least 1-2 years.

● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets for tracking and reporting.

● Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced

environment.

● Willingness to work independently and collaboratively with other departments, such as

the warehouse and supply chain teams.

● Can work in the Solana Beach based office as needed, currently slated for 2 days a

week

Preferred:

● Familiarity with Cin7 or other inventory/order management systems.

● Prior experience handling chargebacks, reconciliations, and other financial

administrative tasks.

● Background in retail or e-commerce order fulfillment across multiple international

markets (US, Canada, UK).

● College degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related

field.
