Position: Management Intern
Location: Pittsburg, Kan. - Honey Does LLC
Duration: December 1, 2024 to May 1, 2024
Compensation: Determined based on previous experience. Per hour rate will be no less than $17/hour.
Role Summary:
The Management Intern will work directly with the General Manager to support daily operations and contribute to the overall success of the company. This internship offers valuable exposure to all facets of the business, including scheduling, quality control, client relations, team coordination, and process improvement. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and eager to learn operations management within the cleaning services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with scheduling, coordinating, and conducting cleans to maximize efficiency.
- Support quality control efforts by conducting site inspections and gathering client feedback.
- Manage client communications, respond to inquiries, and help resolve service issues.
- Work with the General Manager to optimize processes and enhance operational workflows.
- Assist in training and onboarding new team members.
- Participate in inventory management and ordering cleaning supplies.
- Provide input and assist in implementing strategies for business growth and client retention.
- Perform other administrative and operational tasks as needed to support the General Manager.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Management, Operations, or a related field. Preferably a Junior or Senior academic standing.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with scheduling or customer relationship management (CRM) software is a plus.
- Positive attitude and willingness to take on a variety of tasks.
