INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW:

 

Our internship program is a dynamic group of emerging, high potential rising university seniors who will have the opportunity to participate in a 10-week summer internship at the World’s Leading Fragrance Specialty Retailer. 

 

This internship will provide the opportunity for a comprehensive view of the various functional areas within specialty retail. You will have the opportunity to work along-side and learn from BBW associates who will provide training, development and engagement of your function and our Brand.

PROGRAM AREA:

 

Influencer Strategy Team

Our Influencer Strategy team leads the paid influencer, creator and talent partnerships for Bath & Body Works, responsible for executing creative social campaigns that drive awareness, engagement and results for maximum impact to the business priorities. Critical to the function of the Influencer Strategy Team, is the Compliance and Operations Intern, who will partner with the team’s leader and key internal stakeholders to support the execution and management of paid campaigns, while ensuring compliance from an FTC (Federal Trade Commission) and legal standpoint. This internship will offer the opportunity to learn the in’s and out’s of running paid influencer campaigns, from ideation, sourcing and vetting talent, content concepting and creation, to compliance and reporting. 

 

 

Support orchestration and compliance functions within the Influencer team:

  • Learn about the influencer management process and ecosystem (partners, tools, software) 
  • Supports orchestration of omni campaign integration; key partner to Creative Services + Integrated Marketing to manage omni content distribution and usage management; supports vendor set up and payment. 
  • Mitigates risk to the business by acting as POC for legal, supporting Influencer contract specs and requirements, and tracks / monitors all Influencer content for strict and ongoing compliance to FTC guidelines. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Social, Integrated Marketing, Legal, Regulatory, Creative + Creative Services  
  • Maintain compliance tracking and reporting documents 
  • Ongoing maintenance of Influencer Content Cal 
  • Optimize SOP for Influencer operations and compliance process during tenure

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Interest in working in beauty, social/influencer, consumer goods, fashion or retail industries 
  • University current juniors pursuing their bachelor’s degree and in good academic standing
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week during summer 2025
    • May 27th-August 1st (required dates) No extended PTO
  • Computer fluency with programs such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Innate curiosity and desire to learn, strong analytical and logical thinking skills
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask against key business priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to think critically, curiously, strategically and innovatively, and change course if necessary, to achieve desired results

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous internship, customer service or leadership experience
  • Ability to manage through conflict and problem-solve
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; can concisely present complex information/recommendations in terms meaningful to various audiences
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
