Accounts Receivable Specialist - Las Vegas, NV

We are looking for an energetic and skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist. Responsible for performing the day-to-day activities of collecting and recording payments from customers for our Las Vegas Region and working with other regional teams across Esler Companies. Managing all communications relating to invoices and incoming payments, and work with Operations to close out jobs.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING - THE ROLE

  • Communicating with clients to collect final payments and outstanding balances.
  • Recording all payments in Operational Software and Accounting Software
  • Working closely with financing Institutions, banking institutions, and teams within the company including Finance, Sales, and Operations.
  • Responsible for Accounts Receivable processes for southern Nevada and may assist other regions
  • Works closely with Controller and finance team to maintain consistent practices across finance and continuously strives for process improvement
  • Supports General Manager, salesforce, and operational teams to deliver world class customer service
  • Review Bank activity to make sure checks and Accounts Payable activity is recorded in all software
  • Support other ad hoc projects and requests as necessary
  • Recording New Customers and bank activity into QuickBooks
  • Other task as needed

WHAT YOU BRING - THE PERSON

  • Experience with QuickBooks is a plus, but not required
  • Understand our Operating Principles; make them the guidelines for how you do your job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively as a team member
  • Excellent communication and phone skills. Developed written and verbal communication skills are necessary when working as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. Account receivable specialists will often communicate with clients, requesting payments.
  • A positive attitude with the ability to multi-task
  • Flexible and resilient to adapt to multiple demands, shifting priorities and changing business conditions.
  • A strong value system, excellent judgment, unquestioned integrity.
  • Generally requires 2-4 years related private experience
  • Organizational skills are crucial as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. The ability to closely pay attention to detail will ensure that records and reports are accurate.
