Role Overview

As a Marketing and NIL Strategy Intern with PSG, you will play a key role in managing and executing marketing campaigns, identifying NIL opportunities, and building relationships with brand partners. This is a commission-based internship that provides an opportunity to gain real-world experience in sports marketing while contributing to the growth of a dynamic agency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Partnerships and NIL Opportunities: Research and identify potential brand partnerships and NIL opportunities for PSG’s clients, supporting the creation and management of brand deals.
  • Social Media and Content Development: Assist with creating and curating content for PSG’s social media channels, including Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, to promote our clients and campaigns.
  • Campaign Development and Management: Help plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns that support PSG’s mission and amplify our clients' personal brands.
  • Client and Brand Relationship Management: Communicate directly with clients and brand partners to maintain strong, productive relationships.

Compensation Structure

This is a commission-based internship, with compensation tied to the success of the NIL and brand partnerships you help secure. The structure is as follows:

  • Commission for Deals Under $100,000: 10% of PSG’s fee for each NIL or brand partnership deal the intern contributes to securing.
  • Commission for Deals $100,000 or More: 15% of PSG’s fee for each NIL or brand partnership deal valued at $100,000 or more.

Example Calculation:
For a partnership deal valued at $100,000:

  • For Deals Under $100,000: PSG’s fee might be $10,000, and the intern’s commission would be 10%, or $1,000.
  • For Deals $100,000 or More: PSG’s fee might be $15,000 (15%), resulting in an intern commission of $1,500.

Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Communications, or related field.
  • Skills: Strong interest in digital marketing, social media, and brand management, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Availability: Part-time, remote internship with flexible hours.
  • Passion for Sports and Athlete Representation: Candidates with a genuine interest in sports marketing, NIL, and athlete branding are preferred.
