CANDIDATE PROFILE
We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated Web Developer Intern to join our team. Your work will include designing and developing websites and digital content with marketing and user experience in mind. This hands-on internship needs a team player willing to take on multiple projects in an effort to meet various company and client deadlines.
A successful candidate is creative, knowledgeable in web technologies, and is eager to creatively solve challenges on a digital platform.
WHAT YOU’RE CALLED TO DO:
- Develop websites, landing pages, and marketing emails
- Analyze data to improve SEO of existing websites
- Collaborate with design teams for website/landing page mockups
- Make updates to current client websites
- Add content to existing sites using WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS platforms
- Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content
- Perform miscellaneous related tasks as required
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate course for IT, Marketing, Communications,, or similar field.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS languages
- Familiarity with web platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS systems
- Demonstrate an understanding of modern web standards and SEO strategies
- Demonstrate understanding of web content for business engagement
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames with outstanding multitasking abilities
- Organized, dependable, and detail oriented
- Team Player with a cooperative spirit
- Excellent personal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Must have a passion for putting talents to use to help others
- Professional, punctual and collaborative
