About our Teams:

Transportation - The Transportation team implements business processes and improvement strategies to stay current on supply chain and replenishment processes and procedures. As the largest grocer, ensuring our stores have items like food on hand and delivering it to our customers to feed their families is an important role. This is among many ways the team makes a difference in times of need, including helping provide Emergency relief during National Emergencies.

 

About Our Program:

Each summer, we select the best and brightest to look under the hood of the world’s largest retailer at our Walmart across multiple locations. During the 11-week program, our interns work directly with teams who are changing the way the world shops. This is the beginning of what could be an exciting career with Walmart!

Roles and Responsibilities:

We are looking for a friendly and proactive Logistics Load Manager Interns to join our team! As a Logistics Load Manager Intern, you will be responsible for assisting in the operation of multiple departments and performing various job-related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as needed.

 

How you’ll spend your day as a Load Logistics Manager Intern…

  • Communicate efficiently with customers, suppliers, and associates both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards by training associates on logistics and company policies.
  • Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports.
  • Dispatch drivers while complying with Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Identify and resolve concerns of associates, customers, and suppliers.
  • Implement business plans to meet facility goals related to production, quality, and safety.

Office Environment: You will be placed in one of our Transportation Command Centers.

 

U.S. Hub Locations: Bentonville, AR and Grove City, OH.

*Location availability is limited based on job profile and business needs.

 

Desired Majors: Supply Chain Management, Transportation and Logistics, Operations, Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or other relevant majors

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program currently
  • Expected graduation date between December 2025-August 2026
