Arlington County’s Police Department (ACPD) is seeking a Police Policy Writer to operate as the primary writer, researcher, and editor of the Arlington County Police Department’s policy manual. The Police Policy Writer supports the Department’s accreditation efforts by maintaining an up-to-date policy manual and assisting with collection of standards proofs. This position will require a strong writer who is self-motivated and able to regularly meet deadlines. Applicants should have strong written and oral communication skills and possess the ability to demonstrate excellent writing, formatting, and editing skills. This position is on-site and requires the employee to work from the office with limited Telework options. 

The salary range for this position is: $79,123.20 - $122,657.60
