Digital Design / 3D Generalist Intern

Fairbanks Morse Defense, is seeking highly motivated Interns to join our team. As an Intern, you will be taking on impactful work, while engaging in dynamic learning experiences and working as a valued member of our team.

 

General internship requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Sponsorship for employment visas is not available for this job opening.
  • Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to, reference verification, post-offer drug testing, and background check
  • Proficient in Blender 3D (Modeling, Lighting, Texturing, Rigging, Animating)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Must have access to reliable transportation

 

What projects will this intern work on?

  • Assisting in low poly 3D asset creation and decimation from existing 3D models, technical drawings, and photos for FM OnBoard/ XR Devices.
  • Other responsibilities will include rigging models with armatures, animation, texturing, and rendering, designing graphics for marketing use, assisting with and designing assets for other marketing projects.
