Operations Assistant (Summer - Seasonal)
JOB SUMMARY: Tennis & Life Camps, which hosts overnight camps for both children and adults, is seeking an energetic, accountable, and enthusiastic Operations Assistant to provide a safe and memorable experience for our campers. The Operations Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Operations and Marketing Coordinator with all off court management of all summer camps (see specific duties and responsibilities below). The ideal candidate should have a genuine interest in helping and empowering others, great attention to detail and organization, responsible, and committed to TLC’s Three Crowns Philosophy.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Assist with all organizational and administrative tasks, as assigned by the Assistant Director (Operations).
● Assist in all off court preparations for camps, the off-court responsibilities during camps, and the post-camp wrap up work.
● Assist the Assistant Director (Operations) with the planning and production of all marketing campaigns.
● Communicate and assist with all campers' needs prior to, during, and after camps.
● Assist with website maintenance
● Brainstorm and collaborate with Assistant Director (Operations) to continue fresh and innovative ways to express company’s views and branding creatively.
● Assist with the maintenance of all organization’s records.
● Answer the office phone during business hours and respond to voicemails as needed.
● All other duties as assigned by Assistant Director (Operations).
Required Qualifications:
● Communications, marketing or business majors preferred
● Handle all organizational and administrative tasks, as assigned by the Assistant Director (Operations).
● Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
● Excellent communication and customer service skills
● Ability to deliver creative content
● Ability and willingness to work varied and long hours including nights and weekends.
● Ability to lead and collaborate in a team environment.
● Commitment to TLC’s Three Crowns philosophy and their DEI initiatives.
Expected Schedule Commitments:
- Season from: May 26th - August 3rd with three paid vacation days, in addition to the following unpaid set vacation days (June 30th - July 6th; July 21st - July 23rd).
- Days and hours per day can be determined on a case by case basis but generally 5-6 hours per day, Monday - Friday.

*This is an hourly position: The first-year staff starting salary is dependent on the MN minimum wage + dorm counseling stipend + room and board. On campus apartment housing and meals in the Gustavus Dining Service are provided.
