Digital Media Coordinator (Summer - Seasonal)
JOB SUMMARY: Tennis & Life Camps, which hosts overnight camps for both children and adults, is seeking an energetic, accountable, and enthusiastic Digital Media Manager. The Digital Media Manager will be responsible for managing all social media platforms for Tennis and Life Camps. This includes planning campaigns, creating original content, preparing content for TLC’s off season, and managing posts and platform communities. Assist with the creation, management, and execution of social media and newsletter campaigns. Plan interactive videos and post with staff to connect to campers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Coordinate, plan, document, communicate, and execute a social media strategy with the Assistant Director (Operations) that aligns and promotes company organizational goals.
● Generate, edit, publish and share unique and engaging content - both scheduled and spontaneous for all social media platforms
● Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely, accurate manner.
● Assist with website maintenance
● Brainstorm and collaborate with Operations and Marketing Coordinator to continue fresh and innovative ways to express company’s views and branding creatively.
● Assist with scheduling and implementing a monthly, weekly, daily social media calendar.
● Monitor and engage communication with campers/fans across all social media platforms.
● Assist in developing and updating website content.
● All other duties as assigned by Operations and Marketing Coordinator.
Required Qualifications:
● Communications, marketing or public relations majors preferred
● Extensive experience utilizing social media programs, primarily Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
● Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop/Illustrator and Adobe In-Design.
● Excellent communication and customer service skills
● Ability to deliver creative content
● Solid knowledge of all social media platforms
● Ability and willingness to work varied and long hours including nights and weekends.
● Ability to lead and collaborate in a team environment.

Expected Schedule Commitments:
- Season from: May 26th - August 3rd with three paid vacation days, in addition to the following unpaid set vacation days (June 30th - July 6th; July 21st - July 23rd).
- Days and hours per day can be determined on a case by case basis but generally 5-6 hours per day, Monday-Friday.

*This is an hourly position: The first-year staff starting salary is dependent on the MN minimum wage + dorm counseling stipend + room and board. On campus apartment housing and meals in the Gustavus Dining Service are provided.
