Assistant Summer Coaches
Camp Skylemar, is in search of college students and recent graduates who want to coach this summer. Camp Skylemar is a 7-week sports-oriented program in Maine that brings together college students, coaches, and teachers who hope to positively impact the next generation. At Skylemar, you will have the opportunity to be a hero and leader while coaching, and mentoring kids. Our mission is to make a positive impact in the world, one child at a time.
Activities include:
· Sports: lacrosse, basketball, baseball, tennis, track, throwing, golf, hockey, football, soccer & volleyball.
· Water Sports: swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, sailing, water-skiing, wake-boarding, wake-surfing, water polo & fishing.

You'll be mentored and develop dynamic skills within our creative and collaborative community. Staff orientation and weekly in-service training sessions provide a strong foundation to assume summer responsibilities.
Skylemar is a well-established (since 1948) recreational summer camp, located in southern Maine. The state of Maine is more than a destination – it’s an experience that will take your breath away. In summer, there’s no better place to be than in Maine. From the beaches to the mountains, there’s so much to explore and enjoy during your free time.
Compensation packages start at $3,200.00. We also provide free housing, meals, roundtrip travel expenses, time off, WIFI, staff clothing, and a laundry service. Our camp season runs from June 15 to August 10 and includes staff training. You can take an online college class. We provide free time to train or work out with our strength and conditioning coach. We also have some simple ways Skylemar staff members can earn extra money this summer.
Internship credit is available. Most educational institutions require prior approval before the start of an internship. Check with your institution to be sure this opportunity meets any requirements.
