Innovate Marquette (IMQT) is searching for a detail-oriented Finance and Data Manager to join their team in Marquette, MI. As a Finance and Data Manager, you will manage financial policies, assist in grant budget preparation, and ensure data accuracy to support sound fiscal management.

WHAT WE OFFER.

  • Annual salary of $55,000 - $65,000 commensurate with education and experience.
  • Flexible Fridays – take Fridays off provided your work for the week is complete.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

  • Develop, improve, and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure sound fiscal management.
  • Assist in preparing grant proposals, specifically, budgets and budget narratives.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity in data management systems and analyze data to support decision-making and improve organizational efficiency.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a similar field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience working in financial operations or accounting preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in grant management.
  • 2+ years of experience working within a non-profit.
  • Proficient with QuickBooks online, Microsoft 365, Google Suite, and other office software and able to learn and adopt new technologies.
  • Experience in the entrepreneurial, startup, or innovation ecosystem.
  • Must be organized, self-motivated, accountable, and detail orientated.
